The best thing that could happen to a Wells Fargo employee is no longer being promoted or getting a significant raise and a sizable bonus. No, the best thing that could happen to any of us is to find a new job and quit. That's the only bright future I can think of. That's what I've been aiming for for a few months.

The best plan is to find a lawyer and strategize how you're going to address the rampant discrimination that all of us have faced. Then, through a combo of ER complaints, EEOC whistleblowers, and Lawyering, you can turn the paltry severance offered into something substantial.

Never forget: Severance is just a bribe to go away quietly and accepting it, is tantamount to taking the first offer in any negotiation, which is a definite No-no.

This site has definitely seen an uptick in troll posts from corporate. Anyone telling you that the best plan is to quit (without severance) is likely working for HR.

Yeah, even when my career had plateaued, and I was only getting 1% raises, I stuck it out, because I wasn't interested in starting over. Especially with all the PTO and personal days, and holidays.

At my age, it was best to just manage until retirement.

and then, I got my ticket punched and rode severance into retirement......Nest egg, not government........ I am only 56.

If there are better opportunities outside wouldn’t folks naturally move out? I guess it is harder to find jobs that pays higher relatively.
