There seem to be a lot of strong opinions of Eagle. What are the opinions of Eagle ACCESS?
Don’t hate Eagle. But don’t think for even one minute that it is stable software.
Eagle was, is and always will be the pinnacle of mismanagement of project management and software development.
The people who hate Eagle are the ones who use it within the bank, and most of those are messy implementations. Eagle has other clients (outside of the bank) who don't have the same experience. Eagle is software, and the devil is in the implementation. BNYM has to ba----dize every software implementation they have.
An easy way of getting Akash out, give him away free with Eagle as opposed to the bad press of yet another (non GS alumni) leader being moved on.

They have been "selling" Eagle for three years now....
So we will not be doing accounting anymore in eagle? I thought the strategy was to move into eagle not IO?
Yes it is supposed going to be announced this summer
Did they ever really get Eagle working? Eagle has been a 20+ year sh1t show.
Of course will sell, reinvest proceeds into asset servicing.
