The layoffs process is accelerating now until June.

Should still expect them to happen at least every other Tuesday, the Tuesday after a payday. And it makes sense they ramp up starting as early as next week as I believe if you are not "severed" by a date in June (can't remember exact date), you would get a prorated bonus for 2024. Meaning you have to be out of the 60-day notice period and receiving severance pay by then. WF doesn't want to have to pay any type of bonus to someone they lay off, so I would expect to see lots of layoffs very soon.
I also think all the 2 downs have made their location strategies known. They also have not hidden the fact they're moving towards 4 days in office for ultimate 5 and that remote workers will be part of next round of layoffs. Not sure if those with a medical accommodation to be remote but are within the 40 miles of a hub will be included just yet, even though in the end WF will deem that accommodation will longer "reasonable".
I am exhausted by this place, so ready to go
Do the needful.
Remember guys they report numbers on Friday. If the numbers arn't there there is always the narrative... "We will reduce costs by laying off x-x people". Works like a charm.
Let the inevitable happen tomorrow. 🙏
PICK ME PICK ME!!!!
Please let me be in the express layoff lane.
Execution to the pace of a goose step
Thanks for the in-depth report there, Connie Chung
Ready and waiting in COO remote non-hub. Please and thank you!
It's happening just count on it no need for warning
If only we had some sort of advanced warning that layoffs would be worse this year
FFS grammar folks. Put at-least a little effort into life.
