Ktpo+1rXxNs5C Sorry buddy but Gas industry tech develops at a glacial rate, that is the only reason Honeywell can still hang in there with the tech they bought donkey's years back. Unfortunately that means they can get away with it for a few more years even conning customers with some cr@ppy reskins to drag the pain out longer. Some competitors in fixed and portable are getting bolder, my company is actually innovating and will release some new detection technology in the coming years. I suspect a couple of others companies maybe doing similar. I suggest come join us on life outside Honeywell....better bucks and your dignity back!!

I pray and pray they divest HGAS so we can be a real business again rather than the farce it is now. Does not look like it will happen though, I guess we just keep pedaling poorly supported legacy until our competitors finally take the remaining markets.

I have a friend that resells Honeywell PPE. He says that his customers want to buy Honeywell PPE, but Honeywell can't produce it in the timeframe needed. His customers are going for Asian suppliers as a result.

@Jgfs+1rXxNs5C Not exactly true ....that timeline is the mandate given to the executive team. They are struggling to find interested parties with current valuations and will have to severely discount to sell off the various units...... Allegedly.

I was told PPE will be sold end of this year at latest , anyone can confirm this as well?

They are really struggling to find interested parties, word is their valuation is in cuckoo land and the IP value is diminishing . The brand reputations were also severely damaged under Honeywell ownership.

My fellow coworkers were laughing at me. Yet! We're enhancing our assets. Pretty good sign that maybe we're not part of the company profile anymore.

This is what I'm thinking is happening. They make acquisitions. These acquisitions will bring in revenue. New products. Then they dump the old products line.

Thus, they don't have to invest a lot of money into research and development.

If a company never has invested in their assets before, and now I read this post. This is what I'm thinking is happening. So if they start fixing up your building, and the grounds which around the building. Expect to be one of those assets to be sold off.

IA is looking to dispose of a number of business units that do not align. They are struggling however as valuations are ludicrous. They are only putting the bare minimum into these businesses at current which in turn means they decline even further.

@4ykj+1rXxNs5C Oh gosh, not you again. Please keep crazy election politics away from here. The guy was clearly mocking the sycophant on here and to be fair it was a funny point well made, Honeywell has been eating away at itself for a long, long time.
What is it with the nutjobs appearing around here recently.

@2bis+1rXxNs5C Calls his own countrymen parasites, cheers when tens of thousands of migrants cross the border illegally. There are definitely US citizens who should be lined up alongside a ditch, you're one of them.

We've all seen these wormy nobodies who are psychologically attached to their employer. Hoping for a crumb to be thrown their way by the management clique. They tend to wander the cube farm listening for who's saying naughty things about the company, then head straight to the teacher's office with their report.

@2slb+1rXxNs5C - If this is a senior management view then HW will see its own demise sooner rather than later. The reality is that HW have riffed some of their most experienced and talented staff as a cost saving exercise. Most of these people justifiably deserved their higher salaries because they would have demonstrated excellent leadership skills or added innovation and value to the business over a period of years. These skills are not readily replaced by others. How can the business have so many ‘entitled’ employees? If this were the case then management is failing and the 9-blocker annual appraisal is worthless, and the pip process isn’t working. I doubt this is the case. The reality is senior management has lost its way and now the sole focus appears to be cost reduction because their growth initiatives are failing and the share price has stagnated. Sadly employees are now regarded as an EID rather than individuals who are assets and of value.

@2slb+1rXxNs5C What do you know about anyone on this site, absolutely nothing.
I find it really, really weird that you spend your time scouring this site everyday to complain about others frustrations and then go on these bizarre attacks. One could easily assume you have mental health issues.

Why all the Honeywell hate from Honeywell employees? I think that you who are complaining are some of the weakest and most low performing employees at Honeywell. If the room is hot, move out! Honeywell is a good company, unfortunately there are too many "entitled" employees that need to be let go and replaced by others who are willing to do their jobs.

There are over 91,000 parasites and brown nosers if your comment is true. That’s a lot of parasites to feed

@epc+1rXxNs5C Sorry bro, gotta drop a couple of truth bo--s on ya. Honeywell is my first job out of college and I am already embarrassed working here after just a year, no wonder it was so easy to get into!!
I know am far, far from a great engineer and certainly know f*ck all about business but I run rings around my team. I feel d-mber every day working here, it's a freakin clown show!!
And......of any generation I don't think Boomers are the ones to worry about finances!!!!!!!! What planet are you on?

So Honeywell is running it's business like any other company, unfortunately Honeywell has a bunch of old "boomers" who do nothing but complain because they, the boomers lived past their means never saved and invested enough of their money to become financially independent on a long career. Honeywell is a great company and always has been, they just run a tight ship which weak employees bi--h about on this site.

They have been trying to sell it since Wohn and Lill had to debook the government face mask orders. Unlike IGS they can’t move this under IA to blend the damage
