Jim Cramer Feels 'Very Good' About Ford

Jim - Why did you have to mention Ford...really...the last thing we need from you is this reverse Cramer business now. Things were looking up...maybe...but not now...thanks buddy.

Jimmy “pump and dump” Cramer. Haha.

If $3.80 per gallon of gas can’t sell EVs, then nothing will.

How have EVs been selling in EU?

The answer to to volume question I think could be midsize to smaller hybrids. Maverick, ect. Additionally, they could catch an opportunity in the robotics area as this will only grow: https://corporate.ford.com/articles/research-and-innovation/autonomous-vehicle-robot-delivery.html

If the C-Suite is smart they will give these options complete buy in. If they don't, important parts of Ford will die on the vine.

I asked a broker why their firm has Ford listed as a HOLD vs a sell? Still no response. The company has over $140bn in debt and is a highly capital type of business.
So why even think this is a buy rated company? A one trick pony as in F Series that is priced out of the range of the very people it was meant for.
You have a plat form called Mustang that only sold 47k vehicles for the 23MY. Sorry but if you cannot hit at least 250k there is no reason for any future mustangs. I know I will get flack for that but the numbers don't lie.
So that begs the next question. Ford has been a company whose business model depended on high volume. in 2000 Ford sold over 5mn units in NA. Today Barley over 2mn.
Along with that the very vehicles they build the masses cannot afford. So either they start launching high volume affordable vehicles or downsize. So which is it?

"Don’t believe JC when it comes down to Ford stock. He is a paid promoter or snake 🐍 oil salesman. Generally you’ll do much better if you do the opposite of what he suggests. "

Exactly...the...point...of...the...OP.

Looks like most people missed the point here. It's called the "Reverse Cramer" and it's a thing. I think since people thrive on negative news about Ford on here they read the headline and the primal urge to down vote anything with the right words before reading the context.

Cramer is leveraged: Of course he is.

More to the point: It's "Reverse Cramer" for a reason...guess why.

Cramer is leveraged in Ford stock. And he's trying to pull up the price on order to dump it and break even.

This guy is a fraud, a clown, a charlatan and generally clueless when it comes to the stock market, but he might make a good Ford executive.
