On Webex in OFFICE

It’s laughable that every dang leader/manager pushing the RTO workplace excellence joke is SITTING IN A PRIVATE OFFICE while we’re supposed to be onsite so we can all ENGAGE in the open floor (hope you find a desk) seating arrangement.

What’s the point and how silly this whole thing is when we only see these jokers on webex FROM THEIR PRIVATE OFFICE. WTH?!? Oh, and HR is in their own office, too… they should be the first ones setting the d@mn example!!

Does any NYC location have ground floor offices? There wouldn’t be pedestrian or car traffic 17 floors up.

How many managers have you seen on weber with the fake backgrounds? Personally I love the "NY Office". No people or cars are visible in the office window. Interesting technology if used correctly. It's almost a reverse green screen. I recently saw a meeting where the manager had a plant behind them. Beautiful shot of the fake office in NY that had zero pedestrian or vehicle traffic visible and the manager had a plant on their head... and clearly stated they were in the office.

@qum+1ra68NVO If managers need to have a private conversation then they can jump into a little meeting room like anyone else is expected to do. I mean, I heard so many random people who sit in my open seating area receiving their reviews over the phone as they sat 18 inches from me. How awkward!?!

They expect us to reserve a seat or stress about scouting out a seat every time we arrive to the office, THEN. THEY. SHOULD. TOO!

This bank is so awful in demonstrating leadership. I have been here for quite a few years and have witnessed pitiful managers that are poorly trained or just inept. I am embarrassed to be part of this shlit show everyday. The CEO only cares about his cronies and his big azz head going on CNBC everyday talking gibberish about how good this shlithole bank is and how others should follow.

It will be more amusing when you need to come in 4 days or 5 days, instead of 3. :-)

No concerns they have an office for confidential conversations. Big concerns they don’t come out. They don’t interact. Some don’t even GLANCE toward the amazing “open floor seating” area. That’s the issue.

Managers discuss a lot of sensitive topics about people and work. I have no concerns.

and the irony is you have to bring cleaning supplies from home because the bank doesn't like to provide them. It's another added expense ...
so much for flexible seating.
