Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Is the plural of Mach-e, Mach-i? Pronounced Mach-eye.

I see a lot of unsold Mach-i at every Ford dealership I pass.

Do you think LL2+s talk to us?

• If they talked to us, we would not have most of the problems.
• If they talked to us, they would have known most people are not ready for EVs.
• If they talked to us, they would have known people want ICE or Hybrid vehicles.
• If they talked to us, they would NOT have layed off the tech specialists.

I could go on but they don't talk to us.

Many of you guys don't work in this company. You are here for different reasons.

After costs (... plus ED&T, variable marketing, warranty, recall,etc), which current or OPD program(s) you work on actually generate profits? If you don't want to know the facts, sit down and shut up before it is too late. If you want to know, ask your LL2+. Most of you generate negative profit. So, if you are really profit driven, there are lots of things you can do elsewhere.

All that and the things still aren't selling!!

Drove buy a dealer the other day, the unsold Mach-e were lined up. Could have put numbers and suits on them and played cards.

No worries, if they layoffs a bunch of E team members, they can always find a job at Rivian! Oops, scratch that plan .....

It makes more sense to cut our losses and incentive them as opposed to them sitting on dealer lots rotting. Hopefully they learn their lesson and stop building them

I don't know why you people always insult the Mach E.

I doubt any of you people have ever ridden in one or driven one.

Once you DRIVE one you will see just how amazing it is. It is truly the future of mobility. And once our autonomous driving capability is implemented we will truly be the leader of the pack!

So what is the final price ? Less than an ICE ? If not…….meh…..

But we will make it up in volume 🤣🤣🤣
