Out with the old, in with the new. Anyone taking bets on how many Amazon leaders will be hired on as part of the post layoff re-org?

I hadn’t seen that the RAT got a new role so I googled to see what company he went to go infest… best part was a layoff board post celebrating his firing shows up as a top hit when you google his name. Can’t escape us Ratnakar Lavu!!
The problem isn’t with Amazon or any other company’s talent or culture.. the problem is that there is a VP and above level at Nike that is stubborn to change and treat all new info as blasphemy.
first let the RAT trash clean up there are still many SB MM JL RYAKK JM STHOM SS and still like around 8-10 to go at top level. Most of the California field will be cleand-up then we can think of next set of leaders.
I hope none. There were too many managers, that's part of why this re-org happened.
Amazon is already at Nike in areas like Supply Chain. They were probably middle managers that Nike hired as Sr. Directors. Not sure if Nike realizes they are not attracting the best middle management Amazon talent. Haven’t seen anything transformative from these hires so far. People who are willing to relocate from Seattle and settle for Nike probably weren’t going places at Amazon to begin with.
They can't be any worse than the Kohls "leaders", can they?
Don’t think any Amazon employees would fit in to Nike comp ratio unless a manager from Amazon comes in as a VP to Nike. Highly unlikely and it’s a demote for them. So we are safe from Amazon leadership getting to GT
Nah, I doubt it unless they are coming into higher roles/titles. AMZNs TC is way higher than ours. See Muge - she was a VP at AMZN but came in as CTO. I highly doubt she would have said yes to a VP role.
Bringing in new perspectives shouldn’t be a bad thing. Hopefully they bring in the right leaders tho!
I don't see the ELT looking to AMZ for answers
Hopefully none. They're finally getting the ratios right.
20 leaders atleast I guess
