I can't decide what's sadder: the amount of conspiracy theories and misogynistic vitriol on this page or the fact that so many unhappy people stay. If you are unhappy, leave. It's really that simple. You will get a ton of free time back that you now spend on this page spewing nonsense.

For those that wonder why people don’t “just leave”… consider that the cisco cult is maybe more of an addiction than employment in many cases. consider an abused spouse that doesn’t leave a relationship… would you belittle them also?

The nonsense you refer to is due to the lack of execution and performance by this ELT without consequences for them. The consequences are only for the employees who have been delivering on their (multiple failed) strategies.

The ELT keeps giving half-a$$ed answers our way and this has been happening for a while. They seem incapable of predicting basic upcoming issues or worse dealing with them when they see the problems.

It's always fascinating to see just how deeply pathological some in the employee base have become even after years of multiple layoffs per year. It's the high tech version of the Stockholm Syndrome.

They must just not be able to face the reality of their company's leadership simply seeing them as a number on a spreadsheet - cannon fodder for the ELT's personal wealth creation campaign. They want to believe so badly that they're respected and cared for that they can't accept the fact that the ELT couldn't care any less about them or their family.

While there is some appalling commentary as one would expect from an anonymous site, I do think there is a lot of insight here from rank and file. I think the ELT would do well to su-k it up, read this site, and learn what is actually going on at their company. And it’s not misogyny to point out some hires were clearly done for DEI reasons and not competence. I’m not specifically saying that was the case with Maria, but clearly some hires were done for diversity.

Chuck is that you? Big fan actually. MM good initial step. LC next? Great opportunity to build a new ELT under you. The sky is the limit for Cisco if you do!

Regarding having all the unhappy people leave. Think it through. What kind of employees would be happy with the current situation? Seeing Cisco going down the drain with incompetent leadership under you creating a toxic kleptocratic anti-merocratic culture.

Maybe flip the switch and listen carefully to the unhappy people that want to help Cisco succeed.
