Rumor is the developer wanted to turn it into Condo's, but Dearborn wouldn't let him. (the building may not have been zoned correctly ???)
Therefore they are demolishing the building and going to build another Dearborn Strip Mall.

Speaking of good old days, I returned from lunch on sunny afternoon and stepped onto the elevator to find a stripper in full stripper wear heading to the 8th floor. Nice. Ah, the good old days.
I worked at regent court back when it first opened Jon the early 1990s. I think it was late 1991 or early 1992. They hadn’t finished some of the floors. It looked like a scene from Die Hard.
