Maria's position eliminated

Per the 10-Q page 77: On February 16, 2024, as part of organizational changes with respect to Cisco’s executive leadership team, Cisco informed Maria Martinez, Cisco’s
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (“COO”), that the COO position currently held by Ms. Martinez has been eliminated. Accordingly, Ms.
Martinez will remain employed with Cisco until May 15, 2024. This change is due to aligning the Operations and Customer Experience organizations directly
to the Chief Executive Officer and eliminating the COO role."

Finally, the first post with a clue to find the actual document:

Go to: https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=858877&owner=exclude

On the right is a column with an entry titled "10-K (annual reports) and 10-Q (quarterly reports)"

Selecting this will bring up a list. Select "February 20, 2024 - 10-Q: Quarterly report for quarter ending January 27, 2024" to get the actual 10-Q.

Search for "coo" a few times and you'll find the text about the position being eliminated.

That’s why you can’t trust CR or the ELT, to be trustworthy you need to be honest and open. Not bury the information in a document that 99.9% of people do not read.
I don’t recall him mentioning MM’s role was eliminated in the all hands, why not mention that this was the case.
He could still made his gushing speech about her.

WHEN ARE CHUCK AND FRAN AND SCOTT NEXT?

THEY NEED A CLEAN SWEEP AT THE TOP VS ALWAYS CUTTING FROM THE BOTTOM AND MID.

Maria N. Martinez, Member, President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee

The correct "sacrificial lamb". I can't believe she was promoted to this level based on her first few years of non-results. How was CR and the Board so blind to her devastation? Apalling.

@aym+1rctgKGn: Its a nice thought but no. I don't think she ever pushed back on any of the LR's. In fact I think she raised her hand to say "let me know if you need more".

Does anyone think it's possible that she pushed back on some of these LRs?

I know it's a stretch given how many here weren't happy with her, but consider the possibility.
