We need to get our laboratory and pilot plant facilities transferred to Bangaluru Technology Center, Singapore, and perhaps Shanghai before we close Annandale, New Jersey.
If you take the Net Present Value (NPV) of each individual technology that Annandale claims as an ExxonMobil invention, one realizes that the NPV economics are negative or break even.
If it takes a company twenty years of research supporting 100+ scientist, it takes a very long time to recover the sunk research costs to make a profit.
P.S. For every technology that we claim to be an ExxonMobil invention, there are one or more me-to technologies that we could have purchased for much less money from 3rd party technology providers.

OP Annandale is dead. I am surprise that you asked. Even the HiPos are leaving. We had one big shot leave a few days back. She left for a Brazilian company. There's nobody left here.
