If considering paying LHH please look at their reviews. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/lhh.com There are many DIY sites, chatbots, and AI sites that are free, almost free, and within reach.

@2nnf+1re51Dl2 In today's world you need a resume, a cover letter, a follow-up letter, networking, and a link-in profile to increase your chance of getting that job. Furthermore, all of these should be specific to the job area that you are in. I found that the LHH service was an ok place to start. https://www.lhh.com/us/en/insights/guide-to-writing-a-resume-that-gets-results/ However, they are too general -- especially for tech jobs.
I suggest you try to recreate your resume from memory. Focus on highlighting your skills, experience, and accomplishments relevant to the banking industry.
If you are leaving a tech position I found that you need to augment your search with AI. It is very simple to start:
1: Open an AI account either chatgpt, or gemini
2: Prompt it
Here are some prompts to get started:
I was a > at a nationwide bank. I have just been laid off. Prompt 1: I left my resume on the bank's computer system and don't have access to it. What should I do to get a new job?
Prompt 2: Here is my current resume. Please enhance it.
Prompt 3: Here is a job I am looking at. Please enhance my resume to fit the job. Also write a cover letter.
Prompt 4: given above resume and simulate an interview

use youtube or google to enhance your job search.

For those of you with experience with LHH. Are the resumes they create any good or should I pay someone to help with that? Like an id--t my most updated resume was only on my work laptop and I didn’t get a chance to forward to my personal email before my access was pulled.

LHH hounds the heck out of you because they want you to sign up for a VIP package, or whatever the heck it's called. In other words, we will help you on your way out the door, but if you want real help, pay up.

One of the best services I found was at https://www.alifeafterlayoff.com/ https://www.youtube.com/@ALifeAfterLayoff

Practical down-to-earth assistance. In terms of writing resumes, I suggest you use the above or AI (ChatGPT or gemini).

LHH is useless, a waste of WF money!

I've had the "pleasure" of using LHH twice in the last 20 years - they are OK - nothing I could not do on my own - probably would have been better if I just got extra severance as opposed to paying them to "help" me...

Some get LHH and others (Wholesale, etc.) get RM. The latter is superior.

WF has contracted LHH to provide “transitional “ assistance to laid off employees.
