I can confirm that a direct deposit with my prorated bonus processed today. More than I expected too!
Bonus scheduled to be paid on Mar 6th.
It’s deposited in your account as if you’re still an employee.
Yep. I know people who got laid off last year, and a few years before, and they all got their prorated bonus with no fuss.
“ Except to have to fight for it. I’ve seen it so many times. “
100% false, complete hogwash.
It’s deposited in your account as if you’re still an employee.
How about just being kind to people? If someone asks a question you know the answer to already, just provide the information. Social media has made people believe they should say everything in a condescending tone thats unnecessary.
The fact that you don’t know or understand the very basics of how your layoff affects your bonus, tells us exactly why you were laid off!
Except to have to fight for it. I’ve seen it so many times. Don’t start with your boss they clearly don’t care. Go up a level or two. Have your ducks in a row. It’s the only way you’re getting it

It's in the surplus FAQ doc:
"If you leave payroll through the surplus process during the performance year (January-December), you may be eligible for a pro-rated bonus subject to approved payout levels based on the achievement of company and/or business unit performance goals. Incentives will be prorated through your last day on payroll.
If the AT&T Success Bonus is paid out, all employees eligible to receive a payout are scheduled for payment on the first pay date in March following performance year end.
If direct deposit was in place prior to leaving payroll, the annual bonus payment will be direct deposited; if not, a paper check is mailed to your home address as it appears in the payroll system."

He didn't ask how much. He asked when!
