You complain about the Union because you have not the benefits the Union employees have. The Union didn't take away your retirement benefits, Stankey did. You need to place blame where blame is due.
Randell and Stankey have placed AT&T into more debt than any American company in the history of American capitalism.
The Union did not do this.

I literally have never seen anyone proactively complain about your precious Union. Only when the union people bring it up for no reason, to brag how much better they have it because they have... "The Union". Then someone, like me, might want to voice some opinions, but otherwise, no one ever thinks or cares about... "The Union", or what you guys are up to.
The Union did not do this.
Who is blaming the union?
Stankey and crew are coming for all your benefits and squeeze every last drop out of the employees because of his and Randall’s, F’-UP’s. Don’t forget the complicit BOD and funds driving it off the cliff.
The least senior/higher performing former union employees that have been laid off don’t have union benefits either nor do the young go getters that would take your job if your contract didn’t protect the less productive/self- entitled. Union benefits are great as long as you have a job
The company was less profitable back when they paid all your health care. No premiums and no deductibles. We weren’t making 16b fcf back then.
The OP seems to think that what the union does does not affect non-union employees also. Union wants more of something and there's only so much something to go around it has to come from somewhere. And no even with some of the problems I'm still glad I'm not union.
In the west, the union bargained away no cost Healthcare, unlimited sick time, early retirement benefits, changes in security clauses....they broke the union by agreeing to bring premtechs and leverage titles in the core contract with exclusions to most articles. This is what the union agreed to and pushed the membership to ratify.
