I was in a meeting I wasn't meant to be with SVPs and it was disclosed that those who go remote will get dramatically reduced bonuses from this year forward. Don't go remote.

@1jxy+1rffmDHo, it's for next year.
No way this is true… pretty sure they already decided everyone’s bonuses and raises but… I dunno. Anyway I’m already checked out. 3.5 years ago they told us we would never have to come back and that we were good to move. I don’t live by an office anymore and haven’t for years. I’m not relocating. If they want me gone they can pay me.

You'll have to start working from your store purchased computer at some point."
LMAO that will never happen especially on the Fed side. You people need to quit pulling this nonsense out of your a**es before you post
SVPs don't discuss policy like this in a mixed crowd. As someone who has been on high-level planning calls, the audience is vetted thoroughly.
That said, in management we have not been told of any specific repercussions for remote employees. HOWEVER, I am guessing based on historical experience that what will happen is that shortly before pay planning next year, we'll get a directive that will cap remote bonuses at, say, 90% individual modifier. But they're not going to tip their hand on that for quite awhile, I think.
For some people the bonus will barely cover their commute costs on gas. I'll take the risk, thanks.
Doubt this is true

Sounds like a good reason to stay remote and quiet quit harder. Fraction of the pay gets a fraction of the work.
Half of us will be gone by bonus time next year. Go remote if you want.
OP, has this info been disseminated to managers below SVP level?
thats fine remote or in the office is just words.
simple don't go remote yet stay remote.
do you think they actually do anything or even know. hello this is dell hr not the brightest
ACR and bonus exercise have already been completed. Next year seems like a more realistic target to reduce bonus awards for those who are remote.
