Being Watched

Recently, my location tracker (small target in task bar) is always on.

Anyone know how they would use that data? Being tee'd up for the next round maybe?

I have asked others and no one else I know of has their location tracker on permanently.

They 100% are not trackng your location via the teams pop up. All the report for RTO shows is wherher or not your PC hit the network that day or you swiped your badge, either or. Nothing to do with time. Atleast as of right now.

You can turn that feature of in teams.

There are easy ways to work from somewhere other than your "assigned" remote work location without detection.

You cannot turn off your location.

But you should know you are always being tracked via your IP address. Employes try to go to another country to work for vacation, etc., and their VPN will be disabled per policy.
