Just another day with another outage caused by a change request performed in India.
Can’t understand a single work they’re saying.
What could possibly go wrong?

We outsource most of our IT development & test to India. When we looked at cost per feature, we found that even though the outsourced resources were paid a fraction of what the US based resources were paid, our cost per feature working per spec increased by five times and sev 1 defects increased 5-10 times.
Hey I like diversity as well but you SHOULD NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. You should also award jobs to countries that use AT &T service.
That’s call globalization abd your union support it
Ford USA workers went on strike and cost the company billions. That was dollar foolish.
Just called T-Mobile for a question on my bill and got American reps with no wait at all. AT&T is gonna go down at this rate!
@bvk+1rhhmVfW
embrace this.
I had to train my India replacement. I hope someday you have to do the same.
@odj
Yep. Don't forget the Pinto and exploding saga. Save a dollar, get sued millions.
This is what happens when decisions are made using only a portion of an equation.
Ford decided to use an overseas suppliers for their microchips because it saved $5 per F150. But when the supply chain broke, they couldn't sell any of those $60k trucks because there were no microchips.
Short-sighted, penny wise, dollar foolish.
In today’s interconnected world, workplaces are microcosms of our global society. The vibrant tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives that converge within office walls is a testament to the richness of human experience. As an advocate for diversity, I wholeheartedly embrace the kaleidoscope of differences that define our workforce. I suggest you do the same.
Did either have any talent or were they just a couple of hacks?
