Contact a good lawyer and gather all your facts and recordings.

Count me in a group lawsuit. I have all my recordings with any call with manager and HR - come handy without having to state the obvious.

Make a solid case and have heart to fight. Cisco will try to corner on your weak assets, let lawyer figure out strategies.

Ask for $100m in damages minimum.

On EMEA ethics.
Raise a case even if Cisco do nothing there will be a case number and date. That is vital if legal procedures follow, state your case that legally Cisco have a legal duty of care. Raise the fact that contractually they have to respond or it’s material breach.
Also raise a GDPR request. Cisco may defend by saying no data or claim legal privilege. They will then put the squeeze on you and try and impose restrictive covenants. Be strong. I was naive at the time, and very frightened, but Cisco HR use that. Dont be fooled by their insincere we really care bs. They do not care. They are only trying to trap you into a position of weakness. Tell them you have been impacted by whatever issue you complained about and if not investigated independently as per the contract, it could be a legal or even criminal action.

If you believe you have a valid claim for discrimination you only have a certain amount of time to file your claim. See an attorney as soon as possible. Don’t listen to people here who talk down on you standing up for your rights. Many here just take the money and run and that’s ok because not everyone is a fighter but they lose so much and Cisco gets over again. So, if you’re up for a fight by all means file your claim. Good luck.

What's important is for you to understand your employment rights. Employment law firms may offer pro bono representation, but they'll listen to what you have.

Hanford, Heisler, & Sharp., LLC I neither work for, nor represent, this law firm, but I contacted them about my own work situation.

To the person below. Taking Cisco to court twice did not impact me basically because I was not the one who broke the law

I am sure that company HR people who are looking to hire people on, don't check to make sure that the incoming person is or is not involved in a lawsuit against their former employer. Nope I am sure they don't check that stuff found easily online.

Depends where you are
If in Europe raise a GDPR request for all identifying personal data. This includes emails you have been identified on but not sent to you. Cisco will try and hide behind legal privilege and the ICO are useless and Cisco get away with a lot.

Consider material breech of contract. Most contracts require you and Cisco to abide by Ciscos code of business conduct if Cisco have demonstrated failure to comply you have them. I can supply evidence of both discrimination and failure of Cisco to meet contractural obligations during a legal consultation.

Also Cisco have to have a solid business case and plan for making any role redundant. The execs are useless and won’t have it, if they don’t have it he consultation is of no value and thus unfair. However it’s not a big payout for unfair you need to get them on breach and discrimination.
It just so happens I can prove Cisco HR failure to comply with their code of conduct and to have discriminated, they key being Ciscos wording which is the nail in their coffin because they know it and I know was stupid and condemns them.

There is. Lot of discrimination going on at Cisco to include racial, age and gender. The problem is no one wants to take on Cisco due to their deep pockets.

Yeah give a lawyer 100k minimum for a suit that will not get anywhere. That will show them. If you have said bad thing on tape on your phone then maybe. You better have a "You can't handle the truth" video though.
