Cyber teams are expected to work 24/7 at all hours of the day, every day for the bank. And yet they want people to come sit at the office 3 days a week too? It makes no sense and will drive out talent.

Once all the apps get on the cloud the "firm" won't need anymore fancy server babysitters anymore.

CS is a total mess.
Rotating senior management, inexperienced low level managers, and a couple of reorgs every few months, with buddy promotions, esp. a new backdoor one to Director….w zero REQs, and zero announcements.

I wouldn't count on growth occuring in the core locations either. Outside of rare exceptions, the direction is to grow in I&P and to remain stagnant in the US or cut.

Des Moines isn't on the list and that has a few people in my team nervous. Me, I'm hoping that that means I'm closer to getting my severance.

If you are remote in any of these areas, you should be concerned.
