Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Who wants podcast?

I have no idea why Farley needs to do these podcasts. Who cares? Where does he find the time? Who pays for all the support team? He is not going to be Elon Musk. Better focus on improving company results and not penalizing employees for management's poor decisions. It's high time salaried folks unionize

tbh I don’t even think he wants to make those podcasts, I think internal marketing wants to make him seem more charismatic/relatable like a Silicon Valley CEO. But he is just a symbol of nepotistic Ivy League mediocrity like the rest of Ford management. He has nothing insightful to offer the public or the company.

Nothing new here. CEOs do all kinds of things. Remember the hot tub in Jac's PDC office? LOL. Almost all CEOs have a larger than life ego. Same goes with politicians.

It’s all fluff to improve his image. I cannot believe people actually listen to that tripe. How does it further our quality and cost goals?

Blame the Board for allowing a CEO to take trips, have a podcast, spend money racing, etc.

Ford has so many problems with their products and the leadership are focusing on environment, public relations, DEI.

Never been a fan of unions. They all lead to the same place.

OP isn't wrong though.
