Exxon is not gonna give severance to anyone who they offer a job. It's better to look for a job and find the one you like before the close. Best case you can have half of your severance given as sign on bonus.

I don’t think LCO is going to get severance. They will get conversations with a move at a later date. If they don’t move in two years they’ll get Exxon severance.
This feels like an HR scare tactic.
For midland, this is true. LCO will get severance if they can make it through the hellish transition
