Is anyone else using a WF office location closer to home but that is not considered their designated location? I know the RTO system flags for this, but has anyone experienced other issues from management / HR in doing this?

I only go to the office that’s closer - not going to pay for Charlotte parking
Our lob says more than 50% of your (swipes) have to be at core location. I have to go in 3 days a week, I do one close to home and 2 at core location and have had no issues.
I asked if I could move to one of office office sites that is a 10 minute walk from my home, as opposed to the 45 minute commute. My manager tried to convince them to accommodate that, but leadership said "absolutely not"
been told they are going to go back to the old days with access management. You'll get access to your assigned location and if you need access to a different location you have to submit and your manager has to approve. the days of granting everyone access to their entire region is soon over.
I echo the first reply, I attempted this and was told the same. I ignored it initially until I was appearing on their non-compliance report, which our managers receive and I was told to go into my assigned location. Nobody on my team there but me.
I did this and was told it wouldn't count towards my days in office.
So now I have to drive 30 miles in commute traffic. While my team is not even in the same region I'm in. I raised the issue and was shut down by HR.
