Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Company being antagonistic and cheap with it's employee base

They are looking to sell the entire thing to some savior big tech outfit. They still need to cull the herd of employees by at least 50% to get to where someone may roll the dice on it. I left and had 5 company subsidized lines that was costing me $200+. Went to Cricket where similar service was only $160. Metro PCS would have been $180. ATT is a stingey with it's employees. The toilet paper in the hq is chaffey and doesn't do the job. There has been many cases of pink eye at hq due to bad toilet paper and lack of soap in the rest rooms.

There are plenty of buyers and sellers. It's called the stock market where AT&T is bought and sold everyday.

To sell you have to have a willing buyer. What company would willingly buy AT&T?

Nice story but they aren’t looking to sell. No cheap or no TP and lack of soap is true. HC reductions as been long overdue, technology has changed, poor business decisions and too many layers of VP management.

Yes, get rid of the unneeded workers. Too many workers sitting around doing little of nothing.
