Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Company survey

The question is, will they care to act to retain us or use against us?
Some the questions were different: do we have enough employees? (Really?) Have you ever felt burnout? (Yep, due to previous question). Do you find collaboration between organizations is successful? (maybe lay off more and use AI?) And many more questions than previous surveys about “leadership” ( I recommend rotating them around and replacing and eliminating most of them)
Last year before the survey we were threatened we weren’t grateful so most just ignored it since we needed a paycheck and less than 20% filled it in.
Predictions?

they absolutely know who fills out survey and can pin point the person. HR helps the VP's with who is writing negative comments and then bo-m you will be gone at some point or pushed down so low in the organization your value is no longer recognized. Honest thoughts and opinions on how to improve or how terrible your leadership is will never be used to actually improve. They only want people to lie and give positive feedback because their bonus depends upon it.

We had the same survey and I recommend the CEO offer a package for all the older employees he wants off payroll. 10% of his bonuses and the others next to his level isn’t much for them to finance the bosses goal.

This McKinsey survey is really anonymous. I expect answers to the free response questions such as, "AT&T opportunities for improvement" will be considered by leadership.

Our leadership also told us that we employees weren’t motivated enough by their a$$ kissing selfishness skills and they told us to say positive stuff about them over and over.

Someone must read the comments to kick these types to the curb!

From my experience the good leaders are demoted while the yes men are the only type the above wanted.

“ Got a "Q" from my 6th level out of the blue that scared the $hit out of me that wanted to know more information why I felt like I did!?!?!”

You should have called them out directly on the fraud of the anonymous survey. I would have.

NEVER fill out these anonymous surveys.

A few years ago, I filled one out like usual, and told them what a $hit hole Toxic-T was turning into under the Stink.

Got a "Q" from my 6th level out of the blue that scared the $hit out of me that wanted to know more information why I felt like I did!?!?!?

They know, or can figure out who the responders are.

McKinsey surveys are not the same as the type we used to take. They are a scary company that when they leave a lot of people get laid off.

McKinsey is not a friend of the employees. Don't fill anything out for them. It won't turn out well.

Would you refer your friends & family to work for T?

NO!

OP-

The questions you shared were definitely NOT on my recent survey! I have never had any of the questions you are referring to in your post.

The current culture survey administered by third party McKinsey is not the same as the other internal employee engagement surveys you are referring to. It was communicated this week that the employee engagement survey will be coming later this year too.

Surveys are not anonymous - you may choose to give them the BS they expect and save your job for now.
