Not surprised if that happens. When someone hires their buddy in management and when this manager becomes Director, he hires his buddy. Everyone looks the other way when this happens since they are all friends. They don't want to hire someone out of their network.

VGS I heard a Director an VP RIF'd as a cover up.
The majority of VZ IT execs are Indian and the majority of vendors/contractors are Indian. Major conflict of interest. It’s been like that for years. Shanks included. They keep a few Americans around as diversity tokens and to sign the official paperwork/contract agreement.
