The bank has set 750M - 1B dollars for future severance expenses. Just divide it with what you think the average severance would be, and you will get some rough ideas of how many would be affected in total.

There are teams in CTO under the Product Manager (director) that are going to be decimated by location strategy, including the management.
Those at the top who came up with the location strategy are completely detached from how some of the teams below the director level function and how many are not in core and specialty locations.

Where are you getting the 380 number? Also, what do you mean by the 'rest the first Tuesday"? This is going to be an ongoing activity for the next few years, with waves at certain times (i.e. CSBB in April and Sept).
Question is if you survived this wave are you safe for a while? My team lost more than 1/2.
