Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Can any managers out there comment on if upper mgmt is actually considering co-location exceptions?

In a few of the town halls, I heard comments about manager requested co-location exceptions. Can any manager comment on whether upper management is actually considering these realistically or is that pretty much not going to happen?

Yes, but it's for individuals that are considered business critical. It's not just for random people that ask for it. They are reviewed at the OC level to determine that a particular person is very valuable.

This is propaganda and lies. I know many managers who are completely isolated and in different location than their teams. How are they rationalizing this?

We were told no for our team.

My team was on the way to being all co-located but then the executives laid off most of the co-located team and now we are back to being a team spread out across the globe. I guess it depends on the particular upper manager.
