Layoffs have been a regular occurrence and constant threat since 2021, with those that remain expected to pick up the slack. Raises and bonuses are pathetic. RTO has been absolutely miserable and waste of time. Jobs are constantly outsourced to India.
Really no motivation to give my all to a company that can get rid of me at any moment. I’m just doing the minimum required of me for my paycheck and nothing more.
Checked out after being forced into office. My time, money and energy are spent on commute, nothing left to give in the office. I don’t even actively hate WF anymore, I don’t even think about work, just give about 50% effort while I’m stuck there. They refuse to offer voluntary layoffs so I guess it’s a THEM problem.

Totally checked out, no one in my team is focused on work, it is all gossip and conspiracies. If they need to layoff, they better do it quick.
I've been giving the minimum for a while now. There's no valid excuse at this point for the layoffs to keep dragging on. I'm also not giving my all just be to be canned in the near future. I get that this could become a self-fulfilling prophecy, but I'm careful to not appear to be a minimalist.
If the hope is that people will quit, most won't. Dragging out layoffs is just hurting productivity and morale. That's it.
Days like today completely wreck me. Worried about getting “the meeting” and then feeling horrible about the ones who actually did.
Real bankers don't work here anymore. All that's left is overpaid middle managers from Lowes & glorified Admin Assistants.
I used to get a ton done remote.
Now I worry about going to the office, days in etc. Worry about layoffs etc.
Such a waste of energy.
This was always going to be the result of HYs treachery. Completely failed leadership.
