Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

worry not

I got laid off here before. Got paid close to 5 months. Because they under paid me after so many yrs, I found something paying 20% higher in a better location. My stress tanked after that. Don't let mgmt try and stress you.

Once you have done time at Wells Fargo, everything else is easy.

Poor grammar yet again. Most likely not a native English speaker in the US.

OP, are you Charlie? Lol

The time has changed. It’s not as easy to find a comparable job replacement as before. Companies are cutting everywhere. Hard landing ahead regardless of what FJB says.

Keep your options open. If it’s worth it then do it.

Those that live in BFE and are working remote are sc--wed. They missed their chance to get another remote job with someone else. The remote job market has since sailed away. There are thousands of such workers at WF.

Would take a 20% pay cut if it meant the overall work situation improved.

One former colleague took a paycut while his yearly raise/bonus over the last 2 years more than made up for it. He also has the ability to get promotions and other rewards at any point during the year, including of course a 401k match on a per paycheck basis.

Change is scary and what can seem hopeless often ends up being exactly the other way around.

Except the tech and finance job market is poor right now. I’ve tested the market and I would have to take a 20% pay cut
