Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

“Blue Chip to a Cow Chip”

Need I say more? Pretty much sums up what has been going on over the last 15 years. I just coined the title for a book on the downfall of a 140 year old plus industry.

We may hear more details about the outage after the official FCC investigation is over, there will probably be a fine upon completion.

T-mobile payed a fine of 19.5 million after a 12 hour 13 min. outage in June 15, 2020 that affected 23,000 911 calls.

The recent outage was such a bad thing. We all read the official reason but does anyone have more information than outage was caused by

“the application and execution of an incorrect process used” ?

Used to be a dividend aristocrat (Blue Chip) but now with the drop in stock price, dividends, FCF and market share, it’s been a tu-d (Cow Chip). Fortunately the business left is starting to stabilize with more growth potential in fiber and First-Net. The company still has too many layers to support what’s left, as been stated many times.

1st to 3rd, they propped up the now current mobile leader, T-mob. Thankfully T still has the pipes that everyone needs to use.
