Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

NVDA is not going to have same fate as Cisco

NVDA has its own technologies, Original founder has been running for this company, JenSen Huang is longest tech CEO in the market. Cisco does not have its own technologies rely on buying technologies from other companies to sustain, once you're relying on someone else, longevity for Cisco is low. Cisco is dying is by nature, totally opposite of NVDA.

One potential thing might be ruined NVDA is maybe CEO of NVDA is too techy and too soft at the same time, not standing up on bad people within his organization.

BUNCH = Burroughs, Univac, NCR, CDC and Honeywell, and I didn’t need to look it up-but they were Massachusetts based.
Add in DEC, Wang, Data General, E&S, Silicon Graphics, Prime, and others who were.

Greatest company Wang laboratories...

Dedicated word processors and mainframes were clearly the future yet Wang couldn't capitalize on it!

IBM has a niche in mainframes and Microsoft still has a dominant desktop position, but everyone else (including IBM and Microsoft, particularly in the cloud) uses linux.

Look up BUNCH and "Massachusetts Miracle" sometime. They make up part of an extremely long list of American companies that died in a transition from high margin proprietary products to commodity products. For us old people who want to bring up some possibly fond memories, check out:

Greatest company Wang laboratories where John Chambers came from got destroyed. Reason was the founder put his MBA son to in charge the company.

Chinese are great creating companies but they will destroy it with blood.

Money and blood don't go together.
