Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I'm getting so tired of this

I don't want to work at a place that is driven by fear, gaslighting, and a toxic environment. There isn't a single redeeming quality to WFC anymore. Even the pay is no longer the draw it once was. I would accept a new position for less money somewhere else without thinking. If the job market wasn't as bad as it is right now, I'd be gone by now.

Yeah, no S. I'm never doing the survey again and I strongly suggest all other WF employees do the same. It does n
NOT matter how you answer. Literally every possibly result will be twisted to be used against you and support the BS failed ideas of Hudson Yards. Don't legitimize their stupidity with a survey response. I'd guess that 95% of employees would prefer WFH. It's an insult to our intelligence to suggest that any interpretation of survey results were pro-RTO. Complete fabrication, and obviously so.

To the person who asked for the gaslighting example I would point you to Tracy Kerrins’ recent town hall. I’m paraphrasing here but she basically said you all indicated on the employee survey how you needed more direction and feedback, so RTO and site strategy is what you asked for, and it’s what you’re going to get. Gaslighting at its finest.

Hmm. Toxic (hostile).

Must have been why so many team members had migraines?
Health problems?
Over eating from stress?
Terrible posture from sitting in a chair all day?
Stomach aches, nausea, vomiting?
Elevated heart rate and high blood pressure?

No time to train but plenty of time to point fingers. Be aware of what your body is telling you. Those several anxiety attacks? That was the warning to leave and never look back.

Exactly what they want. Go ahead and be a quitter. Not me. I’m staying. You’re right, it’s toxic, but I like my job and believe in my work, and I’ve been through worse in my life. If they advise I must go, I’m going to be paid out to walk out the door.

The gaslighting comes in the form of bullspit publications about Career Mobility and how DE&I is about making the place welcoming for everyone. It's how they say RTO and Site Strategy is about collaborating and not about reducing headcount.

The HY liars are telling us to ignore the evidence before our eyes, which is what Gaslighting means.

Quit falling for it and fight back through a lawyer since no one at the Company has your interests in mind.

I would encourage clients to move elsewhere and engage competitors to recruit wells Fargo advisors. Take the offensive. The firm keeps deflecting, denying and refusing to acknowledge the damage they have done to clients. Advisors seem to have the impulse to bring clients into a firm with an asset cap and consent decrees. That's insane.

keep complaining and do nothing about it. Don't like your life circumstances then change them.

Golden Handcuffs :(
I am being bounded by one right now. And my personal situation does not allow me to earn less money to support my family, so leaving for something less is not really an voluntary option.

Less than 4% unemployment. Unless you are grossly overpaid finding a job should not be too bad.
