  1. Optimize the company (aka gut all of the infrastructure for cost savings and short term stock numbers, forsake the lone term viability of the business)
  2. Implement metric of the day to maintain optimization (aka mess with the numbers and gut even more so the shareholders see short term stock gains)
  3. Get out and move on before reality sets in so you can blame your successor…

He was like a dad - tough but fair. Freaky good memory which kept people on their toes. Stock price soared. Can only remember one instance of layoff and it was small, unlike under L3 they just keep coming back for more.
