Anyone in SPCM with any insights?

Looking to see if anyone in conduct management has any insight. They pre-noticed 2 remote folks on March 5- after saying for months it was “years away.” after reading these threads I’m not sure if I should be holding my breath every other Tuesday or if it will be closer to May or June. I want to wait it out for the severance…

Apparently there was a meeting Friday with DF where they were supposedly going to finalize the location strategy. My manager implied that it would be put out quickly and to expect immediate impacts around the org.

Pre-notice is not guaranteed. And even then, it could be "in the next 2-4 years" which is what they did with consumer ops. and guess what, some of it is happening now.

I’m in SPCM and all I know is no one of any “importance” is saying anything. Haven’t even put out our Location Strategy. We were supposed to have that all hands meeting on Thursday this week but was punted to who knows when. We did have a cryptic call last Tuesday to announce what I assume are the layoffs you’re referencing and our director did nothing but evade questions at the end of the call.

I would not assume it's years away. This was a miscommunication for many LOBs including SPCM. The 2-3 year timeline is to complete the relocation strategy, but there will be on-going rolling layoffs from now until then. Your card can be pulled at anytime. It's basically a game of roulette at this point. I would assume it could happen anytime between now and 2026 (likely by the end of 2025)
