RTO Give it a REST! Who cares? Add value from wherever you work! I don't understand the obession with RTO, clearly some people have a sc--w loose. If they make you go in and you are sitting there by yourself all day...well that does not make very much sense. WFH works, its been proven. Sure, its different but still very productive. Always value your opportunities and don't take them for granted. Back off the RTO, please!

Most companies still don’t have a solid plan around rto noncompliance discipline yet. I imagine it’ll be an evolving issue. Eventually, those who don’t comply will face the music.

Bill to cash has rto attendance in their performance agreements this year. If their attendance isn’t at a certain percentage they will, at a minimum, face reduced bpi/sti, but eventually could face termination via pip for not adhering to their signed performance agreement.

"Has anyone actually heard of Verizon firing someone for not returning to the office after being asked to?"

Yes. Years ago Verizon forced people to RTO and move closer to one of the four major datacenters or face termination. Not RIF...termination.

Even if they don't force the majority to RTO due to lack of office space...they will come up with some plan to continue to shave people via RIF or termination for failing some policy. Can you imagine if they simply randomly dr-g tested people again? Such a cheap way to avoid paying out RIFs....

@3zbx+1rwFBQE7 No one is following the 3/week office rule in VCG unless you are assigned to BR… must be nice having to work from an office 3 times/week while the rest of your team is sitting at home comfortably …

Huge water of time trying to get everyone back in the office. Value teams are now spread out all over the country so even if we all go into the office we will all be on remote meetings. Not to mention the people that moved hours away. Just another huge distraction and just another way to pi-s off the already overworked and unhappy Value employees. Way to win over and welcome your new team members Nancy.

Probably because the value segment isn’t doing as good as they wanted it to do. There was an article stating that most leave to become regular customers. Bring back Angie Kline to run the show.
