Joke! Bonuses were bigger in 1999!

Plus union bonus bigger than GSR. 90 is the new 100 for personal perf factor. Why? Just to keep morale as low as possible. Oh let’s put out a memo telling them they are getting 6% merits too. Heehee.

It's pretty poor to give the UAW 30% raises, contract signing bonus, profit sharing bonuses and then give your salary an average of about 4% (judging from comments I've seen) and decrease their bonus 20% while inflation is up significantly the last 4 years (thanks bidenomics). And then UAW productivity improvement is stagnant and absenteeism is 20-30%.

But maybe selling Broncos for $55,000+ and totally whiffing on the electric f150 are bigger missteps?

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Chevy actually builds their electric Avalanche (Silverado in name only) for $105,000 for which the market is not large.

@ksu - I hear what your saying. However the manager also said the entire department used the algorithm and didn’t make any adjustments. I know a manager in the same department who said 90% is the new 100% and they did make adjustments. What would you think?

Just sayin. I was considering purchasing an Edge which is too big for my needs, more than I wanted to pay and the gas mileage isn’t where I want it to be. The Escape su-ks, especially compared to the RAV4. I drove both and the Honda CRV. Now I’m certainly not purchasing an Edge.

@eyo, my group last year set 85 as the new 100. The LL4 wanted to award his favourite people with a 140. He said a star employee delivers 10 times the value of an average employee (he was quoting some CEO) and said we had to reward the stars accordingly. Funny how none of those stars were in my team and all in the teams that kissed his ar-e.

Anyway, your supervisor may have bee telling you the truth but leaving out that some people got almost double you.

My boss flat out lied to me and told me 75% is the new 100%. Then tried to tell me my whole organization used the computer algorithm and didn’t make any adjustments. Another lie. Do they not know people talk? Wtf?

I’m going out right now to purchase a new Ford vehicle. That’s my lie. Toyota is in my consideration set. Su-k it Sr Mgmt. loyalty goes both ways and I don’t want to spend my money on a pi-s poor quality, low residual and too expensive of a vehicle. I test drove Toyotas, Hondas and Fords. Guess whose vehicles su-ked the hardest?
