The titles are meaningless unless the person who EARNED that title is empower to do the job. A little respect for the employees can go a long way.

I’m convinced obscure job titles are done intentionally as they are in the company’s best interest for retention and salary treatment.
Many other companies have titles that more closely track with experience and salary.
Analyst/associate/consultant/sr consultant/principal
Engineer/sr engineer/staff engineer
Product manager/program manager/technical program manager
At EM you will have senior level roles that have titles like “advisor” or “analyst”. The vague titles make it more difficult for headhunters to poach employees purely off of job title, and also make it hard to estimate salary bands of other roles at EM.
Point being do your research and know what similar roles are called at other companies to know your value in the labor market
