Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Buildings sold, they don’t want you to know.

Of course they don’t want us to know they sold the building, because then it confirms the layoffs coming.
Can they really fit everyone in the “new” Market street location?
If you’re in the Bay Area, get out now before it’s too late. WFH won’t be allowed any longer. They dug their own grave by asking who spilled the beans, wouldn’t be upset it was out there if it wasn’t true. Also confirms they’re reading these posts ;O

WF took a hit on 550 California St in SF. That was sold during the pandemic and incurred a lost.

Oh ge-z, these rumors. 420 is not sold...yet. it's not even listed. 333 Market is the new downtown location. There's plenty of space there. The museum/archives going into Concord is from Fremont. No clue what the plan is for 420 museum yet. 333 or Concord.

420 Montgomery was sold a while ago. I saw an article in the paper about how much of a hit WF took in the sale of the property. I used to travel to that office from MN for years. During better days.

Shart: you have to go to work in a building, so I can turn around and fire you for not being in the right building even though I told you what building you had to go to in the first place.

It's full clown world BS. Hudson Yards can do whatever they want, but if these id--ts think we are "buying" their lies they are d-mber than they look.

So which building got sold? 333 Market is not WF’s. WF is leasing it. Was it 420 Montgomery- WF headquarter?

Office occupancy (owned or leased) is often just a financial consideration. There’s no reason WF should be owning office buildings unless it’s the only way to make something happen. Like that fanciful thing in NYC.

They broke our chops to return to office after COVID, we complied and instead of 2 days in office as it was for years, it went to 3 days in office, then 3 months later we were told the building was sold and had to return to working remote. And now we're told on an unknown date we will all be displaced since we are not in a core location, which I find hard to believe since the population here has tripled since COVID. It is becoming a hostile work environment. It seems that every week now more and more is being piled on, which feels like WF is trying to get as many people to resign so packages don't need to be paid out.

We're already down to 2 locations: 333 Market (SF) and 1655/1755 Grant (Concord). WF is out of all others in Bay Area.

Which buildings? In what meeting was it asked who spilled the beans? Why would WFH not be allowed any longer? If the last one were true, it would affect everyone in all footprints, not only Bay Area,

Without details, OP is not believable.
