I’ve heard there will be layoffs in digital risk. I always thought digital was relatively safe. But there are offshore teams being built.

They should be first on the chopping block. I've never seen a bigger bunch of clueless people with titanic egos....of course it's a girls club like most of Risk so they cover each other's backs.
Risk is safe. Management is rock solid.
What is digital risk? And who comes up with this stuff?
If you're not involved w/complex strategy, you're toast. EVERYTHING is being mapped for offshoring.
I have yet to experience a job at WF that can't be simplified, mapped out (process-wise), and replicated overseas (quality of work be d*mned). There are so many colleagues we work with who feel indispensable, but the people making decisions on the big stuff (e.g. site strategy, how many people it takes to do a job, etc.) aren't working alongside those people. It all comes down to dollars and cents, and WF is taking a clear stance on stateside employees...
No one, and I mean no one, is relatively safe. Well, maybe if you’re Dimon’s son in law. Then you might be. Maybe.
