Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Sambar/Anthony I’ve never felt so connected and in agreement with my leadership team.

This won’t be a popular comment here and that’s fine. I understand your experience may be different than mine, but I’ve never felt this connected to my leadership team in the 25 years I’ve been with this company. Clear, concise, and accurate.

If only this could be duplicated across the entire company, we might be able to turn this ship around.

OP is completely delusional, has drank kool-aid and is too far gone! You must be some kind of brown nosed ki$$ a$$ or just the new kid on the block! Either way, you can’t possibly mean what you wrote!

I am a union slug and am often critical of company leadership decisions but I believe Sambar offers some of the best leadership this company has ever had

Mcfresh did say this site was toxic. I see why now.

I don’t think Sambar had as much say in RTO. That was driven by HR and Stanky

I think both of them are sharp actually and pretty forthright in what they say to people. Definitely better than the other org leaders imho and I’ve been in those other orgs.

How does Sambar still have a job? Failure to activate the BCP during the outage is complete negligence. His immediate termination would have set an example that failures of this nature are not acceptable. The BoD needs to wake up!

All of leadership, and I say that loosely, should be replaced with Gen Y or Gen Z.
Btw, I’m one of the “old and useless “ dudes that Stankey wants to get rid of.
I think the company needs youthful leadership.

Lets be honest here. AT&T isn't competent as a wireless carrier. I still can't walk out of the store knowing what my monthly bill will be. It's beyond absurd that Spectrum Wireless and T-Mobile can do this. Verizon just took a $100M fine for not being able to do this. So where does that leave AT&T?

We should focus on what we're great at. Laying pipe. Fiber pipe. To every house in footprint. That is the only way to save the company.

Sambar was very co--y today saying he had time to take NLEP so call him if we can’t do it.

He likes to flex his muscle and intimidate.

Was so disappointed in him but….

OP - you should write for Saturday Night Live.

You’re just about as funny without any of the originality.

I could see Kristin Wiig saying this cr-p

Gotta be satire. Neither of them are very impressive - at all. One is a layer of leadership that no one even understands. No one on stage even pretended to make the RTO thing make sense because they can’t.

How long have you been with T ?

Clearly, not long enough to know any better.

We work for Uber, but instead of connecting people from point A to point B, we connect people to their families, friends, jobs, and entertainment. We employees just can use those connections. RTO pulls us away from family and friends, disengages us from work, and traffic is far from entertaining. We were a mobile first company years back, and not sure, but I think that’s what we enable customers to do, so driving into a dumpy office full of fake simps waving company branded culture printouts is the exact opposite of “connecting”.

The RTO question was ridiculous. ATT performing a study on how RTO has negatively impacted the environment? Really?

How could the OP be a ki$$ a$$ when this site is anonymous?

You two sound like you just like to complain about anything.

Have you lost your marbles?

The answers were canned and scripted, to say nothing but “Yeah AT&T !” When confronted with a poignant question about RTO, he was flippant and dismissive.

I’ve never felt so ashamed of our senior leadership team as I do today
