Jobs are outsourced because they are going to be replaced by AI. It is a strategy. Outsourced country will monitor the AI for less money or they get ki-led by AI first. They do not want to pay to do that or su-k your blood till you wander in the streets with no money. After all that, Who is going borrow and pay the mortgage? May be AI will do that and Charlie will replace his wife with AI . Everywhere AI and rest of us are gone. Madness. Jobs are created to have society.
Outsourcing isn't new. I agree. What is new is how vocal India's leaders are in their lack of allyship with US and how US companies see this a low risk, yet an optimal way to increase stock value.
@6erw+1s6LTOPL. Yeah, check the latest headline at Daily Mail. Case in point- click here @OP+1sgTypDe & here https://www.dailymail.co.uk/yourmoney/consumer/article-13324403/wells-fargo-fraud-victims-grandmothers-bank-denied-refund-cybercriminals.html#
Do you realize a lot of identity theft criminals are mostly in India? Daily phishing emails, phishing texts, fake phone calls, ring a bell?
No, you can't trust the culture that treats certain group of people like 2nd class citizen.

Wells Fargo fires VP of operations in India after he 'URINATED on 72-year-old woman during business class flight from New York to New Delhi': Banking exec claims she 'condoned' it

No cannot be trusted. Cybersec CISO is one example. So is Head of Appsec who reports to the CISO. They are in a joint plan to take down most of their US Ops. The reason is well known and straightforward. .
I don't trust India at all. And yet, I still trust them more than HY. F Shart.
"They" do it because their consultants, (McKinsey?) are telling them to.
This relationship (bank manager - bank employee- bank IT -- bank client) is becoming this
(bank manager - bank employee- bank IT -- bank client)
bank manager offshoree --- bank offshoree
and you can start drawing lines all over the place.
More lines, more complexity, more reliance on the consultant = increased consultant fees.
Pakistan can turn Bangalore into a glowing ash pile in under 25 minutes. A failed, unstable country with a huge grudge and plenty of nuclear we-pons.
“Others think if they aren't a manager by their 2nd year, its time to move on.”
Yes! And notice how many they promote vs how many US are promoted. The difference is eye opening and sad for the US. And it’s not because they are better at their job. It’s because they max out promos to a percentage of team regardless of true talent and output.
I would be worried about Pakistan throwing over a few nukes. No one is going to work after that. Those guys are the right kind of crazy to do it.
"Because a 100k US salary job can be done for about 40k over there…."
Not really a cost savings when you hire (10) 20-40K Offshore employees to do the job of that (1) 100k US salary. I have 5 onshore and 10 offshore on my team and none of them can do anything more than try to throw things over the wall at their US counterparts.
Most last a year or two, then take the training we gave them and move on elsewhere, so then you get more brand new ones, that you have to retrain all over again each year.
Others think if they aren't a manager by their 2nd year, its time to move on.
Not to mention when its time to punch out, no one is to be found anywhere. Where most of the US employees work 10-12 hrs min a day covering for them, and if a major issue we hang in there till its resolved.
Charlie’s pockets
All companies offshore labor, how can a company justify paying more for labor onshore. Sorry folks, if your job can be offshored it will. I left this he-l hole 3 years ago. I could not be a part of destroying the American workforce. All of this greed will be the end of our country.
The two we have on our team are utterly worthless. We can’t give them anything of substance to do b/c they foul it up. Even some fairly basic stuff is about their limit. I went to a state u but I have more sense than these id--ts in NYC.
cost -- They can hire 8-10 for the price of me and potentially no benefits, 401k, etc ( if they are contractors ). Why wouldn't they -- but they lose production knowledge, etc but they don't seem to care. Seen the massive uptick in problems lately? wonder what that's all about.
With the outsource everything state side can barely survive without the low paid folks
Because MONEY
They are sending so many jobs over there and they have no clue what they are doing. Chainsaw Charlie cutting costs to justify his $29 million a year salary!!
Cheap labor. Actually, my overseas counterparts work hard, crazy hours, but they seem to lack understanding of the business in the states.
Yes, check out the recent AT&T data breach for a taste of what might be coming down the line for this place.
No. India cannot be trusted. I don’t care how many are flattered by their cordial thank you’s and tales of partnership.

This person has it right. There are so many factual situations that would blow minds. The cover ups and sweep under the rug are rampant.
C-suite wants to save money for the short term without regard to true cost, re-work and risk in the long term.
You guys act like this India stuff is new. Almost every Fortune 500 company has a presence in India. The other banks have twice as many people as we do. If that's the case, how would Wells be singled out?
The fraud there is unbelievable, thousands have quit in lieu of being terminated for various misconduct. It’s mind boggling how we are sending more work there, some of it sensitive, not to mention a lot of jobs being offshored. Isn’t India allied with Russia and some other enemies of the US? You can’t make this stuff up. I hope the regulators are paying close attention.
Because a 100k US salary job can be done for about 40k over there….
