Get out before it’s too late. L3Harris doesn’t care about you. Wish I realized that the 25 years I gave my blood, sweat, and tears to this company that wears clown shoes. Remember, it’s easier to acquire another job while you are still employed. L3Harris doesn’t care about you it’s all about the shareholders and the head clown Sc--w basic. All he can do is cash out his stocks to pay hush money to the employee he is currently in a relationship with.

The issue is that this is not the first layoff but a series of layoffs with no warning. There had been no consideration of employees scope of work or performance. Layoffs are a temporary fix to a larger problem, with no staff, programs cannot perform or create quality products. These poor decisions affect not only the employees but also our customers, ultimately the war fighter. They will lose more than they plan, it's hard to find an experience engineer, PM or quality expert with clearances that understand all the government red tape rules and have experience in the technology. Lots of jobs opening at other companies, I plan to get myself one of them. Good luck dummies.

I joined the organization in 2016 as a bargaining unit technician. after getting my degree 3 years later, I took a job as a supervisor. on April 11th, without warning, human resources and security walked into my lab and removed half of my people. some of our most vital programs have no one trained to work on them. my immediate leadership was walked out the door as well. I was not laid off, but I have been under a great deal of pressure to produce the same amount of work with only half the people I had. this past monday, I handed in my resignation.

Since the announcement of the CAS sale to TJC after the Thanksgiving break last year, the North Phoenix office has steadily lost personnel. Lot's of offices and cubicles that are unoccupied. When TJC finally takes over, I expect that will put the nail in the coffin for North Phoenix, St. Pete, and any other peripheral offices that aren't in Grand Rapids. TJC will be looking to consolidate facilities, reduce footprint, and reduce cost. Expect more RIF's when the slash 'n burn ramps up on day one of "Acorn" or whatever silly name they're going to call it..

We always have residual quitters. Especially when your group is hard hit and you know the jobs out there are filling up fast. And it is also frequently the people who cannot weather any financial shortfall at all. Savers and planners are less likely to bail out prematurely.

Well I'm about to quit so that's at least one person. Of course I doubt they will care. L3Harris sees and treats all their employees as expendable.

Long term Harris (25+ yrs) are missing what this company used to be too. Legacy Harris was a pretty good place.

Layoffs are one thing; they happen in business. Taking our 4/10s was a move was completely disrespectful to the employee, as born of inexperienced and careless "leadership." That crossed the line for me.

nobody is going anywhere. the people that were spared the layoff are already being told by the company that they were retained because they were exceptional. and the company will move on to its new future with them. of course it's all bullsh-t, but these folks will buy it Lock stock and barrel .

I’m updating my resume and peaking over the fence to see who has the greenest grass. Anyone remember BAE’s billboard on Route 3 right before L3H a year or so ago? “The grass is greener”…my favorite billboard ever.

the people that were laid off got a jump on any jobs that are out there. if you stayed thinking it was the loyal thing to do, consider this; when your time comes to leave and search for a new job, you will encounter familiar faces. the faces of colleagues that were let go before you. I can guarantee you you will not be welcome there. the longer you wait the fewer opportunities you will have.

This whole layoff thing completed sc--wed the morale. Are we supposed to come to work with a positive attitude know we’ll get let go at any minute? Unfortunately they are paying for my education but I may leave anyway if I find something bettter

Multiple colleagues in FL (CHQ & SAS) are already looking. Excellent. Get out!! It’s apparent of what is happening with these latest round of layoffs. L3H needs more divestments or layoffs to meet their $1 billion target. You are next. The company doesn’t give a po-p about you. All that career development, yearly goals, employee of the month - all just psychological hot air. Get that through your head. You are a number. Expendable. Replaceable. You’ll be shown the door. The best to all those affected and their families by this latest round of layoffs. Brutal. God will provide…

A revolving door at the hopeless L3Harris site in Nova Scotia on Enfield Drive by the airport, the tragic remnant of Litton Systems Canada.

Our site had more people resign this week than were let go last week. I’m sure they already had their plans in place prior to the layoffs, so it will be interesting to see if more go in the coming weeks.

Every RIF has an echo of people leaving. Takes time (they need to find a new job) but it happens.
