SM was put in place to sell the fiber side. Point blank. Don't be surprised after it is all done, he steps down off into the sunset and a new CEO takes the helm. This is his M.O.. He has been the face of a company that was sold to Crown. He gives no f***s. He does not care about the employees and will let heads roll wherever he thinks it is needed. BTW- he doesn't like jeans in the office at all......GOOD LUCK
SM was put in place as a face/figurehead for the investors, not the employees. He will not be wasting any time addressing BS like WFH, the gym at Southpointe or pet insurance. He will especially not be be open to sit down with any of you to discuss your hurt feelings/emotions when real decisions are made.

LOL these comments. The company is hemorrhaging money with no growth or plan on the horizon, stock is down, more layoffs coming. The new CEO knows this. The executives know morale is low and the people who actually put food on the table are questioning their plans. The new CEO doesn't invite anyone to ask questions, no welcoming plan or action, and then he tells investors he's going to sell a part of the business.
And what do these people in the comments suggest? "Keep your head down and don't ask questions!" We all belong on the sinking ship because we weren't smart enough to take severance the first time around.

He’s in a no win situation. If he opens up for questions, he will either have to tell the truth and pi-s everyone off, lie or say he can’t answer which will pi-s everyone off.
