How do you know you are flagged or on the list
Since location strategy was announced back in February, I’ve seen more I know laid off in core markets than I have who are 100% remote.
Core market people are not safe.
Nothing safe about in-office people or people in hubs either. Other than HY and I&P, they all go eventually. Identifying hubs serves two purposes, it's a convenient and legally safe excuse to downsize people and it keeps people in the hub locations productive, thinking they might be safe, until they are also outsourced/contacted/AI'd out of existence.

Wells Fargo has no products and services to offer. Charlie scharf has no leadership skills and he should be ousted legally for his incompetence. I cannot imagine a serious financial advisor working for a firm with an asset cap, consent decrees, and a growing union presence. Why would an advisor work for a firm that has harmed so many clients? That is infuriating and id--tic. Shut the firm down for the sake of humanity and disperse the assets.

Except for a few departments, everyone should know who is getting cut. If you are not in core city and if you are wfh then expect to get laid off.

Hopefully I’m on that list! 25+ years here and I’m ready to be taken out of my misery, this bank has gone downhill and will never be as great as the early 2000s!
