So many techs out on disability in NJ and it's still slow

For some reason there are way too many techs out on disability and there still isn't enough work to keep everyone busy. Where has all the work gone, don't we have a sales force of some kind anymore. May as well offer an EISP they are paying so many techs to do nothing all day or made up work to look busy. It's kind of depressing.

Sure you can find stuff to do on your own. I referenced made up work, but keep busy work doesn't generate revenue. We need more installs that's how we all get paid.

The whole “no work” statement is bogus. There’s no work, because you want there to be no work. Take a drive and within a 1/4 mile, you’ll find something that needs to be fixed. The outside plant has been neglected for years and there are copper drops going to peoples homes where copper has been abandoned.
