Should we worry about more layoffs before the end of the month?

You obviously don’t understand sarcasm when you see it.

“Cisco produced perfect products until DEI showed up”

You clearly don’t work at Cisco. DEI didn’t just show up a few years ago and you don’t use Cisco products. If you did you’d know Webex hasn’t worked correctly since Cisco bought them. It went to sh!t after Cisco bought them.

Your comment is as irrelevant as Cisco.

...this Forum provided very accurate information about the February layoffs.

20,000 people were laid off in February and another 20,000 were just laid off. Only the people who can actually do the work get laid off because that makes total sense. The layoffs will hurt morale so bad everyone else will quit. RTP closed on the 19th. Everyone was pot-valiant. Cisco produced perfect products until a few years ago when DEI showed up. Cisco will be out of business in a year. The AI revolution is complete and there will never be any new AI business in which Cisco can participate. With no server or application intellectual property and skills Cisco should have owned 90% of the overall cloud market. All old people are useless and all young people are useful. Everything John did to take Cisco from $82 to $25 was good and everything Chuck did to take Cisco from $25 to $47 today was bad. A CEO is purely an engineering role. (Help me out, what other recurring memes am I forgetting?)

Indeed, very accurate. /s

You should always worry about layoffs at Cisco if you are hard working and talented...

After many tens of thousands have been laid off over 23 years either they've removed all such people by now or your supposition is wrong.

I'm signing the paperwork to lay you off right now.

Sorry, Anon. I got your IP from the admins and already found your street address.

What do you think we do here in HR all day? Who do you think keeps the lights on at thelayoff.com?

You should always prepare. Have a Plan B. Always ask yourself, "what if I lose my job tomorrow?" Have an emergency fund, save as much as you can, bolster your skills/certifications, keep up with your network... If you are the least bit concerned, get your resume together and start applying to jobs while you have one. Good Luck!

You should always worry about layoffs at Cisco if you are hard working and talented unless if you have a Godfather at Cisco to protect you even if you do not add any value.

"This forum is the LAST place for accurate information. 😂"

The above statement is not true. I was impacted in February and this Forum provided very accurate information about the February layoffs.
