Any rumors or mumblings happening in the back for RTO for all work groups? If it happens anytime soon, will any kind of package be offered?

same cluster, different day..... keep on waiting.
Everyone knows a summer shindig in the office will save the network. Now get in there and enjoy some awkward games and music you’d nevet listen to. Go go RTO!
RTO on the bargained for side is for life, in my opinion. The numbers are better and why would they mess with that?
@6iyq+1sEKZuUn see that's where you are incorrect. All exempt employees are management (not necessarily managers) and non-exempt employees (non-bargained for) are also classified as management. Bargained-for employees are classified as associates.
Do not confuse the term manager with the term management. Manager refers to people leaders. Nothing old school about it.
@6rxj+1sEKZuUn Congratulations! That shows how dispensable your team is ....
It is just a matter of time before home-based teams get outsourced by VGS.

Any comment that still refers to managers versus associates shows they are old school union who have no idea how the company operates. Most exempt employees are not management and most employees not in sales or care are exempt.
Don't believe the doomsayers. I just had my reclassification as Home-Based approved. Everyone in our department who our executive director put in for was approved.
Packages have been for managers lately instead of associates
A feasible Recovery Time Objective is important in telecommunications.
Package would be whatever paychecks you get till they separate you. Wonder if they’ll try and call it job abandonment so no payouts/rehire
- The Company may terminate the work-at-home arrangements at any time for an individual associate for material or repeat violation of the terms of this Agreement or material or repeat failure to adequately perform their job for a reason or reasons related to working from home with 7 days’ notice to the affected associate. The Company may terminate this work-at-home arrangement for any workgroup or groups if it has a demonstrated need to do so for such group(s) so long as the Company notifies the Union and discusses its plans at least 90 days before the planned termination date for such workgroup or groups. The Company will not provide any such notice prior to one year from ratification of this Agreement.
RTO coming for union also, contract only guarantees through 2023.
What about union workers ,will they have to Return 2 Work ?
RTO announcement was a few weeks ago, will we hear about RIF or VSP before the June 17 RTO? Rumors about something coming next week. RTO forcing more takers for a package now.
@1hwz+1sEKZuUn Hybrid employees have always been mapped to an office but never required to work from that location. As of next month, they will! 8 times / month regardless of how far they live from the hub …
It is all in the new policy for hybrid employees that came out last month
At this pace, VZ will do exactly as AT&T did to their employees
THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER REMOTE JOBS OUT THERE - IF YOU DONT WANT TO WORK IN AN OFFICE THEN DONT. iF YOU WANT TO WORK IN AN OFFICE THEN DO.
Hybrid employees were always mapped to a location which sometimes is a hub and most of the time isn’t. This hasn’t changed. It isn’t AT&T where they mapped people to a few locations and said showup or get out.
@1pof+1sEKZuUn - There is no longer such a thing as not having an office to go to ...
Hybrid employees have already been mapped to the closest hub and must start reporting to the office 8/month effective in June
Here we go, the OP that needs attention. The RTO was already announced and mgrs were told to be flexible. For those without an office to go to(due to when buildings were sold, years ago) will continue to WTH, no change.
Confirmed. VSP announcement to be made after RTO announcement on June 4. VSP similar to 2018 except everyone goes at once. No three waves like last time.
Home-Based has been excluded from all the RTO talk, but I'm expecting if you're anything but a call center rep, you're gonna RTO sooner than later.
all a hunch btw
@1hqv+1sEKZuUn "give the badge to someone who likes/needs to go into an empty office. "
Giving someone else your badge to have it scanned so you can avoid going to an office is the same as falsifying company records—you must be cr-zy or trying to get others fired.
If worried about HR monitoring card swipes - just go to a CO or garage nearest you and swipe twice a week there - or give the badge to someone who likes/needs to go into an empty office. Our office is all craft (who do not report to the office per contract) except for the top floor. The people that used to work on the top floor have not been in the office for ten plus years. We have all been work from home for ten or more years. The company is looking to sell the building. All employees should be able to work wherever and however it works best for them and their team. Butts in seats does not equal productivity. The office atmosphere is not conducive to productivity. Not to mention sharing of bathrooms, eating areas, others disgusting habits etc...Travel to and from the office is expensive, stressful and not very green.
June 4th applies for applicants too so fill out those applications to all those jobs..
- in India.
/s for June 4th
!/s for India
June 4 rumor is true.
Can someone confirm if the VSP rumor for June 4th is happening and is it all departments
Waaaaaa! I have to go to the office!
Why does it matter? RTO will be happening across the board soon enough.
Just plan on it - and STOP ASKING!
No return to work for union members . Don't you wish you were union now ?
HR is looking at everything available to enforce RTO. It’s here and by early next year, full time RTO.
Yes
@Qjn yup.. but as I also said, she at least moved on from asking about a vaxx mandate every other day which also was a pipe dream for her.. just like RTO which also obviously at this point is moot.. at some point she'll give up.
“HR is jot looking at card swipes”
Meaning currently HRBPs and management can’t look at specific individuals card swipe data, yet. Summary reporting, analysis against other data, anything to try and give value that certainly is happening or will be. How else will they ignore data and result to take whatever next step they want to anyways?
Are you HR? You know for a fact they will not be checking. They have in the past.
RTO clown is back, just like the other post predicted.
RTO will not be enforced - HR is not tracking card swipes
What does RTO have to do with a package, is this some union BS? RTO was already announced for Management. 8 days a month starting 6/17.
