While this is happening, intel had all VPs and above fly worldwide to Santa Clara for an exec sync meeting. Just before the Labor Day. I am sure most of these people came with spouses for an extended trip. What a great life!!!
We can’t get approval for necessary travel unless it is approved by an ELT, they had all VPs fly to Santa Clara for an internal meeting. Especially now. Why are we rewarding these people instead of firing them? Some of the weakest people across the company and execs’ friends and favorites have become VPs. Grade 9 finance people are VPs, lamest bus dev people are VPs, slideware warrior principle engineers are fellows or VPs, basically Caligula’s horse (s) fiddling when Rome is burning. It is beyond over
