Chatted with HR to ask them to remove the 5 DEI classes from my profile since they’re not mandatory.
They refused since ‘DEI is a core principle of the company’.
Can’t make this stuff up.

DI&E is very much related to layoffs. It's 'core' alright, a core reason this company is headed to the dustbin of history. The well run companies are shutting that cr-p down. WF on the other hand is keeping it on life support because our CEO refuses to hire black people.
They also say zero carbon is a goal while for ing everyone back into offices. Laughable

The courses assigned without due date eventually become mandatory if not completed after enough time has passed.
OP is the reason they will become mandatory. I’m sure they’ve spent more time complaining about them than it takes to do them. They take maybe 20 mins for all of them total. Some are like 2 minutes.
If it’s not required, I will spend my efforts on getting something productive accomplished or worry about required training. Why should i spend precious time doing something unnecessary? People really need to value their time more.
